Steering Column Repair: stearing colum, chevy s10 blazer, chevy s10 pickup truck

can i take a stearing colum out of a 1992 chevy s10 blazer, and put it in a 1989 chevy s10 pickup truck

According to my interchange guide, they are the same.  You have to make sure though that the wiper switch is the same.  If you have delay wipers, it needs to have delay wipers otherwise it will not swap.  Tilt and non tilt are ok to mix and match as is cruise and no cruise, but not the wipers.  Those have to be the exact same switch.
