i own a 1995 mustang gt left key in ignition over night, went out this morning to start ignition locked won't turn any way i can get around the security block tks

Nope, the security system needs to see the key while you are rotating it in the lock.  It sounds like the steering wheel locking mechanism may be jamming the key.  If you can, try jacking up the front wheels to take the pressure off them.  Then with the wheels off the ground, wiggle the steering wheel left or right and you may be able to force the key to turn.
Otherwise, you will need a locksmith to remove the lock & key, build a new one to fit the existing key with the chip in it and reinstall it.  
Lastly (worst case), tow it to the dealer and ahve a new set built and reprogrammed.
