will a 1991 ( chev. s10) tilt steering column interchange w/a 1984 (chev. s10)

Hello Barry,
I don't believe they are a direct bolt in. Any steering column can be modified to fit as long as the length is close. The problem you run into is the electrical connections vary for model to model and year to year. The 84 and 91 are not similar in wiring connectors, but that doesn't mean it can't be modified.
