Subaru Repair: Forrester Shudders, cv axles, steep hill

Question
My 2002 Forrester has had both front axels replaced at separate times.  My tires are have about 30K left in them.

On the highway when I reach about 55 or so, or when I'm going up a steep hill almost anywhere, the front end has a shudder.  On the highway if I accellerate past 70 in the flats it goes away, but gets worse as I accellerate on a highway hill or any hill for that matter.  Its a feeling like the front is not gripping the road correctly.  Any ideas.

Answer
Deborah,

Plenty of ideas, but there all just that with out driving it my self, If I have to guess I would say you have cheap Chinese made aftermarket cv axles installed in your Forester causing the vibration.  In terms of the front wheels not gripping?  Not sure I understand what you mean.
