Subaru Repair: Torque Binding, subaru outback, inner fender

Question
Hi Frank,

I have a 2003 Subaru Outback and I believe from earlier postings that it is experiencing torque binding.  It rides rough at low speeds when turning the wheel hard in parking areas.  You wrote that the issue could be solved by "INSERTING the fuse into the FWD box. Should be located by the wiper motor on the right hand side firewall."  Please clarify if I am to take this fuse from elsewhere or is it a new fuse and what size fuse.  Also, if I do this instead of fixing the problem, am I going to pay dearly for it later.

Answer
There are extra fuses in the cover of the fuse box under the hood on the left inner fender well. Put the 20amp fuse. We have yet to see any problems occuring from this, but that doesn't mean that something can't happen.
