Subaru Repair: 03 Outback whining during accerlation, baffles, tailpipe

I have a 2003 Subarbu Outback that emits a high pitched whining noise when I quickly accerlate. The car has no problem accerlating, except for the noise. No other problems with shifting. What could it be? Thank you for your help!

have someone listen to tailpipe and rev the engine a few times and see if the noise is coming from exhaust. I have seen many of these. It won't hurt anything, but we still haven't figured out if it's the baffles in the muffler or the converters. It's annoying but harmful. If thats not it, then I would take it someone and have it looked at.
