Subaru Repair: 2000 Forrester Maual Tans., parking brake cable, wheel cylinder

Question
Rear brake intermitinlly tightens up causing a drag on the right rear.  Heat gun on other wheels shoe temp. of 110 Deg. R.rear 480 deg.

Answer
Could be many things, first thing that comes to mind is the parking brake cable is sticking.  You really need to take a look inside the drum.  Check the parking brake to make sure it is releasing completely.  Make sure the wheel cylinder is not leaking.  Rarely a hose will go bad and cause a drum set up to stick but it is possible. Hope I could help you out!
