Towing Issues: car was stolen then towed, full coverage insurance, tow yard

My car was stolen and found and towed and was left at the tow yard ,they sent me a letter i got the letter almost 3 weeks after it was stolen .$900 to get it out and 25$ a day my insurnce wont help they are still under  Investigation ..i dont got the money

Sorry to hear that you vehicle was stolen...

Now as to your insurance, I am kind of guessing that you only have the bare minimum levels of insurance and as such have no coverage for theft.

I really hate to say it, but it is your choice as to the level of financial responsibility that you are taking when you purchase insurance.

Not sure where this happened, but there are some places where if they have caught someone who stole it you might get some help from victims assistance programs, or you might be able to sue the person in court.

But it sounds like you are responsible for the bill (as it is in most every state).

Check with your insurance and keep trying to find out what is happening if you do have full coverage insurance. If not then they might be able to give you some guidelines and suggestions about what to do...

Also talk to the tow company, sometimes they will help you with payment arrangements or something like that...
