Towing Issues: want to tow a 92 Toyota 4 runner, drive wheels, toyota 4 runner

want to tow a 92 Toyota  4  runner ..  does it matter if it is automatic  or manual to tow  with a tow truck??  front or back??   speed and miles??

Ed this is one heck of a loaded question...

Best advise I can give you about towing vehicles with a tow truck, (hope this is a wheellift tow truck not a sling truck) would be to lift the drive wheels off the ground. Generally rear wheel drives get towed backwards.

Now if it is a 4 wheel drive, then you might have to worry if the vehicle is full time 4 wheel drive you might have issues with it.

Now if you have locking hubs on the front end for the 4 wheel drive, then make sure that it is in the free position.

If you have a flatbed tow truck then it is all the way off the ground and it will not matter what gear or auto or manual transmission.
