Towing Issues: Illegal Tow, professional towers, nut shell

I live in an apartment complex I parked my car at three in the afternoon and did not move my car at all the next day i realize that my car was no longer in the same parking I later find out that it had been towed because I was supposibly parked in two spaces. When i went to go pick up my car i was shown the pictures and in the pictures it had swown that the car was parked sideways but in the picture the two front tires were facing straight. I know i did not park my car like this I had someone with me that also witnessed that my car was only in one parking space. So my question is if you have ever heard of a car being lifted and moved by a tow truck so that it looks like the car was "illegally" parked?

in a nut shell the answer is yes...  There are some tow drivers / companies who have been caught doing things such as moving vehicles which are legally parked into a position where it is illegally parked.

Now pictures are worth a thousand words and as such, they bank on the fact that their pictures will be the only things shown if it goes to court.


Sorry that you had this happen, but I have to say that the few towers who are doing things such as this, are just a few which make the rest of the honest and professional towers look bad.
