Towing Issues: towing, manual transmition, dingy towing

Question
Can I flat tow a 2003 Ford Ranger with manual transmition without disconnecting the drive shaft?

Answer
This sounds like a question about towing a vehicle behind a RV which is not my area of expertise, but there are some web sites which provide that kind of information.

Check out some of the motor home magazines online and they should have some information on "DINGY TOWING"

Now as if we had to tow it behind a tow truck, then we would have it lifted on one end (we tend to lift the end where the transmission supplies power to) and we do have speed and mileage limits to follow.

Below is a towing site where you can look at your vehicle and see what they recommend.
