Towing Issues: How can a vehicle be damaged by a towing, tow company, dash board

I would like to know if a vehicles front end and transmission can be damaged if the person hooking up the tow truck and towing a vehicle can cause damage.  My car was towed and when I go it back.  The car pulled to the right, the dash board was separated from the original settings and my shifter was in the wrong place and lifted upwards as I changed from park to drive and back to park.  Please any help you can give me to help fix the damage done to my car would be greatly appreciated.

wow I really have no ideas or suggestions about this, as some of it seems impossible to happen as tow damage. The dash is separated from original settings????

What does this mean ???

Nothing that a tow company does with a hook up, be it with a flatbed tow truck or a regular tow truck (that I know of and basing this on 32 years of towing) will affect or damage the dash of the vehicle.

I know there is a lot more to this question and I would love to hear it as that might help with some of the answers.

But best advice I have is to have the vehicle looked at by a body shop and see what they say about this
