Towing Issues: dayly truck reports, carrier safety regulations, motor carrier safety

does udot or any one requer a dayly truck report on light dutie tow truck  (truck inspesion) that has to be keep on file at all times

when you are driving a commercial vehicle, you have to follow the US DOT laws which are spelled out in the FMCSR (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations)..

Now Utah might of adopted different regulations but I would check out the FMCSR (the green book available in truck stops)

I believe that any vehicle over 10,001 GVW requires the daily inspections, but I might be wrong as I can not find my copy here at the house and I do not want to wander outside and get the one out of the tow truck...I been working to hard this week, its time to pass out.
