Towing Issues: wheel lift towing, oil pan, tow truck

I recently do to death in family have become in charge of running a tow truck with a wheel lift was wanders if the make some kind of spacer block or pad for the center parts of the wheel lift to reduce the risk of when hitting bumps the car bounce and hitting the oil pan on the wheel lift thanks for your help

But you can also keep the wheel lift tighter against the tires and that way you gain more clearance.
