Towing Issues: filing a tow claim, texas ford, front wheel drive

QUESTION: I had my vehicle towed to the dealership where I bought it, and when I picked it up, my reverse didnt work, and it did before, and Ive been calling the tow truck guy and he wont give me his tax id or insurance info to file a claim. Is there anything more that I can do? or have done?

ANSWER: What state are you in? What type of vehicle and how was it towed? Flatbed/Rollback, wheel lift? Do you have insurance on the vehicle?

QUESTION: texas, ford focus 06, not sure of the bed, but he lifted it from the back

If I understand correctly you are telling me that the towing company towed your vehicle from the rear. Unless you have an odd vehicle an 06 Taurus should be a front wheel drive and CANNOT be towed with the front tires/drive wheels on the ground. Write back and let me know. Also did anyone else see the vehicle towed that way?
