Towing Issues: Tow Damage, small claims court, repair estimates

The Tow company is refusing to do a claim and wants me to do the claim and will not give me their insurance carrier.

If you think that your vehicle was damaged while in the custody and care of the tow company, you can go to them and try to get them to accept the claim and make it right.

If they do not want to do that, or deny the claim, you can go to your insurance company and file a claim with them and let them fight with the tow company.

If you want you can also do the small claims court route, but you will need to prove beyond a shadow of doubt that the tow company did the damage.


Just remember that documentation is the key here, lots of pictures, repair estimates, and all that help.  Keep good records of all the times you talked to the tow company and what they said as that will help if you have to go to court...
