Towing Issues: 4 by 4 chevy truck, tow dolly, chevy truck

Question
My truck is parked on 1 tire in front and 1 jack stand in the front. The back is also missing the tires and is up on jack stands. I need to have my truck moved. Can having it towed in this condition cause any damage to the differential or other parts? What would be the best and safest method to use with out causing damage to my truck. Do I ask for a flatbed or tow dolly? Thank you.

Answer
Well this is a loaded question.
Can the other front tire be put back on, can all the tires be put on?

Things like this affect towing a lot and yes it can be towed. Sometimes there can be damage even with the best operator and equipment. Sometimes not.

I would call a tow company and have them either check out the vehicle or tell you what they would like to have done so it can be towed safely.

Plus depending on how the vehicle is parked affects this issue.  I would only need access to one end (back mainly) and have the other front tire on it then it would be towed using a tow sling (old style tow system) but that is me showing my years in the business.

Good luck
