in florida can you get your items from your car before you pay the tow bill?

Well you can get some items, (house keys, medicines, bank records - papers) and I think you can get school books..

But as a rule, most tow companies see the personal property as the only thing worth value in a lot of vehicles and as such you can not get it till the tow bill or arrangements are made to pay.

PS, in Florida if the vehicle was towed as per order of a law enforcement agency and you do not pick it up or pay the tow bill, your drivers license or vehicle tags can be suspended for non payment.
