QuestionOk, my friend won a case in small claims court in Florida, the settlement is a little over 5,0000.00 including court costs, plus 5or every year he's late in paying.
We have since put a lien on his property, but the towing co. has not paid up yet,what can we do to make them pay for removing a his van and selling it illegally ???

As to the lien on the property, well when he either tries to refinance or sell then he will have to pay off the lien. Kind of nice knowing that someone will have to come to your friend when they want to do something.
Not sure what the legal status would be if the tow company went bankrupt though. That would be one for the lawyers to answer.
I am not sure about what you can do to "speed up the collections".
