Towing Issues: will my car get towed if I took it already?, bad apples, tow company

Im jimmy and I live in MN, st.paul. I parked my car at my brothers apartments parking lot. According to his landlord that if the car don't have a permit and after midnight then it'll be towed. I parked bout 11:40pm. These guys(witnesses) told me that this guy wrote up my car bout 20mins before 12am. Its not a ticket. Its a tow truck paper regarding my car info and etc. It still has the white, yellow and pink copies. I took my car out before 12am. What happens next? They going to search for my car or make a big deal?

Well I can not actually speak for the management or the tow company but a lot of vehicles get "recorded" for violations...

If you were warned then you need to be careful as you got informed of the rules... It can now be considered that you have notice it would be towed...

Since it was not there when the "tow time" arrived then you should be good and no one will search for your vehicle elsewhere...

But again I know that there are a few bad apples in every industry and its hard to say what someone who is doing illegal towing will do.
