Towing Issues: waiting on a title, necessary paperwork, tow company

I bought a truck (500.)on Dec.10th ,09, from a local tow company that they towed because it had been abandoned. They told me that they would have the title by Jan. 1st. I'm still waiting for the title. What do you think Rigsby?

In most cases and depending on the state you will be waiting for a long time. Since I don't know which state the vehicle was bought I can't properly answer your question. Here in VA the vehicle must be auctioned, sold by the towing company. The towing company should have given you all the necessary paperwork. Then you would title the vehicle, which requires a trip to the DMV and pay the fees (titling, registration, taxes, etc.)
