Towing Issues: towing dead BMW from behind, bmw 318, rear wheel drive

Thanks for this website! I have a BMW 318 rear wheel drive that is in a carport. I was going to donate it to Amer cancer society or anyone who will tow it away, but now it will not run at all due to the battery being dead! Being a BMW, I cant just recharge it,etc and am worried about being able to get rid of it. Can it be towed away from behind from  a carport entrance which is pretty wide? Thanks again!

I am confused here as to why you can not "recharge" a battery on a BMW. I have jump started hundreds of BMW's over the years and I know they can be charged up. You do not need to get a new battery everytime it goes dead. But of course at times batteries will not hold the charge and need to be replaced.

But you should be able to have the vehicle towed from the carport as most drivers can do that job with ease. It is a rear wheel drive vehicle which makes it easier to tow than an all wheel drive or front wheel drive vehicle.
