Towing Issues: MD repo, tow company, storage fees

Question
My vehicle was currently repossessed by NMAC via a tow company in MD. NMAC added $500 to my amount due to cover for the repossession fee. Now I've found out that I also have to pay storage fees and an administration fee of $50 in order to get my vehicle back. I do not understand what the original $500 covers nor can I understand why there is not a "not to exceed ($)" because at this point I am about to pay the tow company $505 to them personally! I know that this all falls on my but, at this point, I'm paying the tow company more than $1000! Please help me understand. Thank you in advance

Answer
Tory,

The repossession fee would have to be paid by the finance company if you did not pick up the car. Now since you picked up the car, you owe the fee. I am assuming all of these fees are legitimate. You may otherwise request clarification from your finance company contact.
