Towing Issues: Towed from a paid parking pass lot., chevron station, small claims court

Question
I was towed from a paid parking pass lot, a chevron station lot in Hollywood, CA.(cost:$200). I'd been pay parking there twice a week for over 3 years with the spoken promise that the paid pass they gave me was good for a day(24 hrs.).
They forgot to date  the pass they gave me for my windshield, and towed me 9 hrs later. The pass does not say how long it's good for on it, and they now claim it's only valid to 6:30am next day.

Any suggestions?
James.

Answer
"spoken promise"

That is a major problem, no written guidelines or standards...

Now as to them changing the rules in the middle, it happens... I think you are out of luck but you can always try to get the Chevron Station to make everything good.. But I bet there is either a manager or owner change with happened.. That or something happened and they were liable ...

Sorry, but not much I can do to help other than say if you really want to you have the option of small claims court..
