Towing Issues: small trailer, dmv web, california dmv

Question
Do you have to register or get a pti for a trailer in California. Or is there i size requirement to need the registering or need plates on the trailer. The size trailer i have is a 4' X 4'

This is out of my area of expertise, but a quick search of the California DMV web site did not produce any results that I could find for specific information on your trailer..

That is the link to the DMV website and since I am not that familiar with California laws on trailers I would suggest that you contact the DMV office as they would be the ones who would have the correct answers for you.
