Towing Issues: Towing Advise Needed, hyundai elantra, tow dollies

Hello,
  I am in the military and moving across Country. I have a 2001, Dodge Durango Sport 4WD with a 5.4L and Automatic Transmission. I am considering towing a 2002 Hyundai Elantra across country. Please advise if this will work or will the Durango be damaged from attempting this tow? Also, if this tow will work, do you recommend a trailer where all 4 wheels of the towed car are off the ground or just the front 2? Your advise and assistance is greatly appreciated!

Well I want to point you towards U Haul or Budget regarding the use of tow dollies or trailers to do this...

The only issue is the weights of the vehicles and that would be able to be answered correctly by U Haul...
You can also check online and see if you can tow the Hyundai with the Durango...

Best answer on the difference with the tow dolly (2 wheels down) verses the trailer (4 wheels up)  is just that nothing is on the ground with the trailer.. Either one works, but the trailer is also heavier than the dolly and that all adds up to the towing capacity and if it can be done...
