Towing Issues: Towing an SRX, 2007 cadillac srx, cadillac srx

I have a 2007 Cadillac SRX, V6, RWD.  I plan to tow behind my diesel RV with a dolly, and the owner's manual for the SRX says this can be done with the rear wheels up and a steering wheel strap.  The dolly company, Roadmaster, says it can't be done.  Your thoughts.

Well since this question is not in my area of expertise I will try to answer it as best as I can.
what I show for "COMMERCIAL TOWING" this vehicle like you describe (backwards) does not have any warnings other than it says "SOME VEHICLES MAY BE ALL WHEEL DRIVE"

It might be a general warning type statement that Roadmaster said.

But what I would be concerned with is the width of the vehicle on the dolly, will it actually fit onto the dolly without touching the sides of the fenders. That and the front end of the vehicle is there anything that will drag or be real close to the ground.  

I am sorry that I have no real information but that's what I would be looking for.  Hope it helped.
