Towing Issues: i loaned my van to a friend, thier, houston texas

i want to know what can i do i loaned my van to my friend to go to santa rosa texas .and he lied to me he went to houston texas and he says that the van broke down and that he left it on the side of the road and it was towed away.i dont have anyway to go over thier what can i do?

Well I really can not answer this, as it seems that it is a matter of "convenience" to go get the vehicle...

Each day it sits there it will increase in price to get it back... I would be working actively to get the money and to go get the vehicle...
