Towing Issues: RV towing a Tacoma PickUp, toyota carolla, target vehicle

Question
Wondering about towing an older Tacoma 4-wheel Drive behind an Rv, say late 90's.  What would be the risks involved.  Right now we tow a 1993 Toyota Carolla, but would like to purchase a Tacoma Pick Up to tow.

While its not my area of expertise (I guess the RV guy quit), I do know the risks include transmission damage among others.

I would suggest you pick a target vehicle and then check with someone like Camping World or any other large RV dealer about what procedures you have to do...  Also keep in mind that if you are using a tow bar you have to install brackets on the vehicle, whereas using a tow dolly you do not have to normally modify the vehicle..
