Towing Issues: Broke into my car to tow it?, florida field, ethical issue

Question
Hey Robert(or, whoever might answer). I got towed last night in a lot near Florida Field. I parked in the back of the lot(an apartment complext), backed in, pulled up my ebrake, and turned my wheels. When I left and when I got back there were atleast a dozen empty spaces(of say 40 or so), and probably about 8-10 other cars without decals for the complex. Not to mention, when I got my car back, my doors were unlocked. And my e-brake was down. So, what? They used a slim jim or something, put my e-brake down and towed it? Is this legal in Florida? (Alachua county, if you need to know). Thanks!

Answer
Well you admit that you parked in an apartment lot, and backed in, set the brake hard, and turned the wheels...
To me that sounds like you knew you were parked illegally and tried to make it hard to tow.

Now I can not find a "SPECIFIC" law which prohibits unlocking vehicles as they usually allow it to help safely tow or load the vehicle. But in my mind and most others its an "ethical" issue...  What happened to the bag of diamonds or the 3 pounds of coke under the seat?
