Towing Issues: starting a tow business, tow truck company, tow companies

i want to start a tow truck company how much do i need to start and what kind of advice can u give me

Well at the risk of sounding like I am giving you a hard time,  as soon as I finish the book I am working on called
"tow companies for dummies"  I would love to answer the question..

BUT there are so many factors in starting a "LEGAL" tow company and a "GYPSY" tow company.

Truck, yeah you need a tow truck and that can be from $5,000 to $60,000 or more depending on what you want, new or used..

But you will have insurance, maintenance on truck, phone, paperwork (got to have bills to write prices on), permits, licenses (city, county, state and Federal), fuel,  WAGES (you want to make money)

All of these are to be considered....

Do you have any towing experience ??? that is a huge factor also..
