Towing Issues: Towing question, tow truck drivers, apartment

Question
If I were to put a boot on my car would this prevent tow truck drivers from being able to successfully tow my vehicle?

I live in an apartment complex, and I just got a new vehicle with temporary tags, and it was towed overnight, because they say it was not inspected but, it had been inspected in another state, and had the sticker to prove it. Any advice?

I doubt that you could do much to prevent the vehicle from being towed... most you would be doing is making it harder to tow, and that translates into more charges..

I hate to say it, but the best way to not be towed, is to comply with all the rules and requirements...
