Towing Issues: muddy tow, tow truck, state of kansas

Question
I drove on to privet property (not mine) got stuck & called a tow truck to get me out,(lots of rain in Kansas) the tow truck gets stuck too but does get me out. Can they charge me for the ruts made on the land? They said it is part of cost of getting me out.  (in the state of Kansas)

Well, since you were the one that got stuck being where you were not supposed to be you are responsible for damages... Sure you got out with assistance of the tow truck, and if they got stuck its not good, but at times things can get complicated and bad.  
Now as it will all depend on the property owner, and what they want to do about damages...
