Towing Issues: car stolen than towed, full coverage insurance, world hope

Is there any way of getting around paying for towing when my car gets stolen, and the police only give me 20 minutes to get to it, when I live over 30 minutes away?

There is insurance for coverage of this issue... Of course it means that you would have to pay for full coverage insurance..

If you only have the bare requirements or do not have insurance then you are gambling on the ability of paying for losses..


Now the towing service does provide the service at the request of the police department and does protect your vehicle from further damages or loss and safeguards your vehicle by placing it in storage.. Unfortunately it does cost money for that service...

Yes it does seem that your are being robbed or taken advantage of 2 times, with the loss of use of your vehicle and then having to pay for the towing...

But towing services are private companies not tax payer supported (like Police and Fire Departments) and that is the problem...  
Best thing is to talk to the towing service and see what if any breaks they can give you, but do not really go in there expecting the world...
