Towing Issues: Towing a boat, power steering fluid, honda pilot

Question
I am purcashing a boat, motor and trailer hhat weigh approx. 3000lbs, i am considering a AWD 2007 Honda Pilot as my towing vehicle.  Do you think this will handle pulling the boat out of the water in all extreme conditions, (mud, incllines, weights and road surfaces (gravels, dirt, etc. Do you think i am in for some problems with this vehicle?

Answer
Here is something from the Honda web site I found for this vehicle when used for towing...

Towing Capacity (lbs., 2WD / 4WD) 3500 / 4500** 3500 / 4500**
**Towing requires installation of power steering fluid- and automatic tranmission fluid-cooler, both available exclusively from your Honda dealer.Premuim unleaded fuel is recommended when towing above 3500 lbs. Capacity of 4500 lbs. is for boat trailers and 3500 lbs. for all other trailers. Refer to the owner's manual for additional towing information.

From what I have heard, this is a good vehicle, for average use... It might be what you want, but I would research it a bit more.. Talk to the dealer, and also if you have a camping world or RV store in the area check with them about the towing ability of the vehicle.. Another good place to find out about towing is from U-Haul  they have a great reference book in the store about what is needed and how much you can tow..
