Towing Issues: FWD Jetta got towed, vw jetta, dish washing

My front wheel drive VW Jetta was parked nose in with no front access and got towed. How could this be?  I thought that if they towed a front wheel drive from the rear or pulled it away from the rear in order to access the front it would cause mechanical damage.  Please advise.

Well tow trucks have various methods of towing vehicles, some of them involve using specialized equipment like Dollies, GO Jacks, Skates, or even oil or dish washing soap to get vehicles out of spaces..

Or a good operator can use a flatbed and load a vehicle that is nosed in and front wheel drive.

As to damages, well as in anything, there are chances that damages MIGHT HAPPEN... Can I say for sure your vehicle was damaged..  NOPE  not going to get that answer from me as there are too many variables.
If there were damages, they might not be visible or noticed, or they could be major and easy to notice.


Depending on the tow truck used, then you might have had the vehicle towed safely and in a recommended method.  Lots of supposedly impossible things can be done by tow trucks.
