Towing Issues: towing our vehicle behind our RV, transmission pumps, tow dolly

Question
We have a 1989 Chevy S-10 Blazer automatic four wheel drive vehicle my husband wants to flat tow behind our motor home, do we need to do or add anything to this vehicle to ensure we are not doing damage to the tow vehicle?

Answer
Sorry for the delay, this question was in the question pool which I just found out about.

Now while I am not totally familiar with flat towing vehicles behind motor homes I do know that there are some devices which cut out the drive line from turning into the transmission without having the fluid circulation.. I believe they are transmission pumps to keep fluid moving..

But in my towing of vehicles commercially, I think the best method would be to use a tow dolly and have the vehicle loaded up backwards and in the 2 wheel drive position (that works just on the rear wheels)

That would be easy way to do this without damage..

Again sorry for the delay, and I hope that you have already solved the issue.
