Towing Issues: honda behind tacoma, tow dolly, honda civic

I need to transport a 1992 Honda Civic 1000 miles and am wondering about dingy style behind a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner 6 cyl. Is this possible? The Honda would be empty of any luggage or extra weight. If this will not work, do you have any other recommendation.

You can rent a tow dolly from your local truck rental office.  However, I would have the car transported by truck if it can't be driven.  You may find that is the cheapest way to move it by the time you add in the cost of the dolly rental, the copious amounts of gas you'll burn in the truck and the wear and tear on the truck.  

I also do not recommend towing a car with a midsize pick-up (as usual).
