Towing Issues: Tent Trailer Towing, chevy astro, lb loads

Question
I have 1997 Chevy Astro with a V-6 4.3L engine.  I thinking of buying a tent trailer that has a GVWR 3,770 LBS and an Unloaded Vehicle Weight of 3,055 LBS.  Can my van tow this size trailer?  And if it can't, what is the most I can tow?

Check the laws in your area and your owner's manual for the manufacturer's reccomendation.  

I see no problem towing that trailer with your Astro.  I have hitches for the Astro starting at 5,000 lbs and higher.  I have set-up weight distribution systems on Astros for 4,000 lb+ loads.  

Have at 'er, just be aware that the V6 won't allow you to climb a 10% grade at 90MPH.
