Towing Issues: Towing Law, speed limit signs, maryland countys

Question
I recently had my car towed from an apartment parking lot for $160.00, due to the fact that I had parked in front of a tenants rented garage. However, there was no restricted parking sign in front of, or on the garage. I guess it is expected to be common knowledge not to park in such a space, and inforced by Marlyland State Law. Is there a Maryland law that requires signs of some sort on all restricted parking areas, or time restrictions on how long a car can be parked in such a spot before it legally can be towed?

Answer
ok  there is a few things I want to discuss here.

There are some Maryland countys and citys that have more regulations than the state law provides.

Would help to know which county and City it happened in .

Now as to the signage requirements.  Basic law on tow away signage, is that it has to meet certain sizes and words. Its supposed to be posted visable at each entrance to the complex or parking lot, and in a few other locations that are not specified.

It does not have to be in each space, or area, and it does not have to be in any other language than English.  (have had that asked before )

Speed limit signs are not located every 50 feet, and the limits are good for the whole area till it hits a differant area or limit.

Parking in front of a garage door is kind of a big sign saying TOW ME
