Toyota Repair: Oil consumption issue

I recently had my Toyota 2007  rav4 engine rebuilt for the excessive oil consumption problem at my local Toyota dealer but I now notice a loud manifold noise on cold start and acceleration, has my intake manifold been damaged by the oil getting into it?  Dealer tells me it sounds normal, but it never was this loud before.  Can it be cleaned out or does it have to be replaced? Thanks for your help.

Hello, it most likely needs to be replaced, did the dealer check to see if there is an updated manifold available or if there is a service bulletin available? It should still be covered under the powertrain warranty if there is. Call the dealer back and ask them to check.
