Toyota Repair: ABS

Hi Mr. Ritter,
Thanks for wanting to help.
ABS light went on in 2000 Camry.  The ABS seems to kick in occasionally even if braking at low speed.  Mechanic said he couldn't pick up a code for some reason, and he doesn't know what is causing the problem himself.
Any advice?

Hello, was any brake or suspension work done on the car recently? If the abs light is on then there is some diagnostic information in the computer, I think that mechanic just doesn't want to deal with this, try another shop that is willing to be a little more helpful.
