Toyota Repair: Starter for 97 Toyota Tercel

Could you please tell me if I can replace a 'cold climate' starter on my vehicle with one that does not have the cold climate package?  They seem to be the same size etc.

This is the first time that I have heard of a cold climate starter but then I don't live in that kind of environment, my guess is that the only difference is the current requirements are a little different, the voltage is the same, I would say that unless you are in subzero climates that it is ok to use the other starter.
