Toyota Repair: Toyota Sienna 2007, service reminder, transmission functions

Question
I have a service reminder to get my Toyota Sienna 2007 to do Value Adjustment in 80,000 miles. When I called the nearest dealer to have an appointment, they said I don't need one until over hundred thousand miles. Should I go do Value adjustment or not to. Thanks.

Answer
I'm not familiar with this "value adjustment" it sounds like something the dealer made up, it may be due for an oil change, there is basically nothing to adjust on these vehicles except the brakes, all engine and transmission functions are computer controlled, I would recommend that you have it serviced at 100,000 miles at which time the spark plugs should be replaced in addition to the transmission fluid and coolant change as well as tire rotation and brake inspection etc.
