Toyota Repair: electrical problems, override switch, fuse panel

I have a 1990 V6 4runner where the power lock switch, dashboard, and the clutch override switch are not working. where can I start to diagnose the problems. the vehicle comes with a 3.0 V6 engine and is four wheel drive.

Always start by checking the fuses, there is a fuse panel on the inside under a cover at the left side of the dash and there are also fuses under the hood in the fuse box near the right fender. The best way to check them is using an inexpensive 12 volt testlight with the key on, fuses that are good will light up the light when touching both metal tabs on top of the fuse.
