Toyota Repair: Rear A/C o-ring leak location, rust inhibitor, c lines

Question
The dreaded Toyota 2008 Sienna CE rear A/C freon leak:  Are the rear evaporator o-rings that often leak above the spare tire?  Can I get by just replacing the o-rings and NOT the a/c lines?  Can I spray LPS-3 rust inhibitor on the outside of the fittings to prevent it?

Thanks Ted!

Answer
there are O-rings near the front where the a/c lines connect to the rear, these are the most common sources you can see them from underneath you'll need a decoupler tool to remove the plastic couplers, then there are some at the rear, the o-rings can be replaced there is no need to replice the tubing but you will have to remove the pipe attaching brackets so they can be moved to get to the o-rings.
Use only a silicon based lubricant, as pertoleum based will make the o-rings fail over time.
