Toyota Repair: parking brake, toyota tercel, parking brakes

how do you adjust the parking brakes on a 92 toyota tercel, 4 speed, it keeps rolling once i pull parking brake.

Answer
The parking brake is adjusted by adjusting the rear brake shoes, there hsould be an adjusting opening at the top of each backing plate, remove the rubber plug and use a screwdriver to turn the adjusting wheel inside until there is a slight drag when turning the wheel.
