Toyota Repair: 2 step injector cleaner, synthetic oil change, toyota factory

Question
ok,
i have a really bad feeling i was taken advantage of.
i have a 2006 v6 toyota tundra. ( i love my truck!)

i took it in to a Valvoline Express Care business for an oil change. i wanted synthetic oil cause i heard thats best.
as i was sitting there the guy came in and told me that my truck was over 30,000 miles and had i had the injectors cleaned. i said no, so he told me that i should do it cause it will improve the performance and it will clean off the injectors.
i was skeptical...
i even told him that i didnt want to be taken advantage of. he assured me that this was something that is regularly done as scheduled maintenance after 30,000. so ihad it done.
i am new to this town and i decided to trust him.

did he make a complete ass out of me??
i really want to know. i wanna trust these guys but i know they are in business to make money.

with a synthetic oil change and the 2 step injector cleaner i paid $143.51.

the guy told me to look in my owners manual and that it would say it in there. i looked but i can't find it.

ok, basically my question is... did i get hosed at the  change place?

sincerely,

Answer
The toyota factory manual as well as the owner's manual does not anywhere state that an injector flush/cleaning is recommended on a regular basis, this usually an "upsell"by the independent shops as well as the dealers but mostly abused by independent shops and quickie oil change places, this is how they make up for the cheap oil cnanges, they do not want you to leave with just a $19.95 oil change, in my opinion you wasted your money especially at only 30,000 miles, maybe at 90K I may agree. But even then, most gasolines contain chemicals to keep injectors clean. Next time you want to clean the injectors just get a can of additive and pour it into the tank     To answer your last question: YES.
