Toyota Repair: maintenance on 1998 rav4, clutch fluid, toyota rav4

Question
Ted,

I recently acquired a 1998 Toyota Rav4 4x4 5 spd.

It has 127k miles and is overdue on timing belt obviously, as its never been done.

I want to give it a full tune up as I don't believe outside of oil changes and air filter anything has been done.

I know I have to replace the rear diff oil and the trans / transfer case oil as well.  I will be doing new plugs.

What about power steering and brake fluid? Does replacing brake fluid take care of clutch fluid?

Should I replace plug wires? Pcv valve? Fuel filter?

I should add it currently runs perfect. I just want to keep it that way. But don't want to go overboard with things that aren't required to be replaced as a maintenance item.

Thank you so much for your time and expertise. It is much appreciated.

Answer
Hello, do the timing belt soon.
the tune up with air filter
The clutch has a seperate reservoir and master cylinder
If the power steering and brake fluid are clean there is no need to replace thses fluids
Spark plug wires and fuel filter
Check the brakes and rotate the tires
trans fluid and differential fluid
Most of these are preventive maintenance and recommended at this mileage.
