Toyota Repair: oxygen sensor 1 bank 1, auto parts stores, o2 sensor

Question
I have a 2009 Sienna V6. Automatic transmission. Bank 1 sensor 1 has failed. It is near impossible to remove. Must I remove the exhaust manifold to replace? Should engine be warm or cold. Does toyota use anti-seize at the factory? Thank you.

Answer
Yes bank one is hard to get to since it's near the firewall, the exhaust manifold does not tneed to be removed, we usually remove the sensors from the bottom, they do use antiseize but the sensors can still be extremelyu hard to break loose, use a special O2 sensor socket available at most auto parts stores.
